March for Our Lives
Be a part of history! Join the synagogue in a communal journey for justice.
Saturday (Shabbat), March 24
6 am departure 9 pm (approximate) return
As you may be aware, the deadly shooting in Parkland, Florida, two weeks ago has unleashed a groundswell of interest in countering the deadly violence targeting our young people and others in our nation. A bus, sponsored by POWTY and the Social Action Committee of The Community Synagogue, will leave the synagogue to join the March for Our Lives (for information on the March CLICK HERE) in Washington, DC, on Shabbat, March 24.
REGISTER to be on our SECOND bus! The bus has space for 54 people and does have lavatory facilities. Shabbat morning worship on the bus will be provided for those who are interested.
This bus is dependent on sufficient registration, so please come and bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors. The cost for transportation only on the second bus will be $95 if 40 people register.
